Yuck.

I had high hopes.

Chili made with meat replacement sausage like soy stuff.

Not good. No matter how much cayenne you put in it. Or cheese. (kinda defeats the point, the cheese)

No matter what those vegetarians say.

Hey, if you're really going to try doing this vegan thing, I've got a book recommendation for you: Isa Moskowitz's Vegan with a Vengeance. You'll love her; she's all punk and whatnot. And she has little patience for those prefab meat substitutes that taste like dirt. I got her book for the baked goods and breakfast things; pancakes and muffins and pumpkin waffles for allergy boy. But the rest of the stuff looks really yummy too. Good luck, you.

P.S.: the comment page, she is perhaps too pink these days.

First off, what are you talking about? What comment page? Huh?

And thanks for the tip. I'll go check it out.

You know, this little popup window where you put your comment. The other day, it was really really bright pink that hurt my eyes. Now it's white again. Perhaps it was a glitch in the blogger site? Or maybe I was hallucinating. It wouldn't be the first time . . .
